About Holiday Resort Unity
Putting smiles on faces has been our business for over 65 years.
It was back in 1948 when Bert House, a Somerset dairy farmer, set up the first park here. It was summer time and he was approached by a scout group who wanted to camp on the farm. You guessed it. Bert said yes – and Holiday Resort Unity was born.
Now the cows may have moved on, but there are still lots of members of Bert’s family around at Holiday Resort Unity making sure your time here is full of fun and relaxation. Guests still enjoy many of the same things which that troop of scouts loved about their pioneering visit here – fresh air, fantastic views and the sandy beach of Brean!
Today the four star resort incorporates the facilities of Holiday Resort Unity, Brean Leisure Park and Golden Sands Holiday Park. We have continued to develop the facilities of the resort with Brean Play Indoor Softplay centre, Brean Splash Waterpark and Brean Golf Club. Oh, and did we mention that we’re just 200m from the beach!
We think Bert would be very proud!

Meet the team
The best way to see if the park is right for you is to come and have a look around. One of our friendly team below are always on hand to show you around the park and facilities and answer any question you may have.
I joined Holiday Resort Unity in 2015 as Sales Manager and am really enjoying working for a family business. When I’m not on park working hard, I enjoy spending time with my wife and 2 children, which is a full time job in itself!! In the little spare time I get, I enjoy using the resorts 18 hole golf course and watching football when I’m allowed.
Having worked for the company since 1999 I returned back to the sales department from taking a year off to backpack around the globe. In my spare time I love pretty much all sport, especially football and cricket. As well as having a passion for travel, I’m also an avid wildlife photographer and have a love for wildlife and conservation. I really enjoy working on this great resort and love helping customers on their buying journey to become another of our valued owners. If you would like to find out if ownership is right for you and your family please feel free to ask for myself, and I will be happy to help.
I have worked on the park since January 2016 and I'm really enjoying my time here working with the owners team. When I'm not at work, I like to go away in my caravan - well, when in Rome...! I'm here to help with all types of account enquiries and anything else I can so please pop in and see me as my favourite part of my role is getting to know our owners on park.
I've been with Holiday Resort Unity since August 2015 and absolutely love it! I work part-time as I also have a full-time job at home with my fiancé Steve as Mummy to our son Coby who’s 4 and daughter Taya who’s 1. I enjoy spending my time with my family and friends, having day trips out, and when I get the occasional chance to unwind I like a nice glass of wine! I am here to help with all your aftersales and warranty issues. I have lots of experience in aftersales so just pop in to see me if there is anything I can do to help from reporting jobs, arranging engineer visits or even just a chat.
In addition to our lovely guests, there are a few other residents at Holiday Resort Unity that we try and take care of.
They’re the animals, birds and other wildlife that live here. That’s because we’re committed to protecting and preserving the landscape and environment here, to working towards a sustainable future – and to minimising the impact the resort has.
We’re delighted to say that we’re now proud holders of a David Bellamy Gold Award for our commitment to wildlife and conservation, as well as a BBKA Bee Friendly Park.
We are also part of the Litter & Plastic Free Coast Somerset initiative, minimising our use of single-use plastics across the holiday park and all our venues, the "Don't Feed the Locals" campaign, which means we respectfully request you do not feed the seagulls and, of course always pick up after your dog!
We’d love to know what wildlife you’ve spotted on site, so don’t forget to tweet us your pictures.
