In December 2018, we opened Brean Country Club - a fantastic asset for all of our holiday home owners to enjoy.The new Brean Country Club development has now officially opened its doors!
The facility offers unrivalled panoramic views across the Mendip Hills, two function suites, the larger with a 140 seat capacity, and casual dining at affordable prices, serving breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner.
The menu will offer traditional British classics with a fine dining twist, all cooked to order from ethically sourced local produce by local chef Simon Hyde, who has almost 30 years’ experience within the industry, working across the UK and the Channel Islands developing brands such as Mitchells and Butlers, and managing restaurants with the prestigious accolade of two rosettes.
The Country Club will welcome the very much valued and loyal members of Brean Golf Club to their new home, as well as look forward to welcoming new members, with state of the art changing and locker rooms and a stylish new Pro shop being just some of the modern additions that all will enjoy.
As an owner, you have the full benefit of the facilities at the Country Club. Pop over for breakfast, read the morning papers over coffee and cake, grab a light lunch, or even enjoy an evening meal. Your privilege card will, as it does with all our other food and beverage outlets, be valid, enabling a 10% discount.
You can also book the Country Club for special occasions - with a licence for civil wedding ceremonies, it will serve as a wedding venue, but can also be booked for all family and corporate events from birthday celebrations to team building days.
Some of us need to work whilst we are away from home, so with free wifi, it is also a great place to take yourself away for an hour or two. It certainly has inspirational views if you have a project to work on!
Luxury Lodges are for sale at the development, which offers a 12 month recreational pitch with a 35 year site licence, with prices starting from around £140,000 - speak to our sales team for further information. As a lodge owner, the club will also be the venue for exclusive owner events.
The Country Club also offers a peaceful alternative to some of our other venues at Holiday Resort Unity, which can get very busy in the summer, so lends itself as the perfect escape. Of course, you still have the benefit of the private owners' lounge over at Bertie's (situated to the rear of RJ's).
